■ Emergency Aid Requested for Survivors of Floods
   in Northwestern Pakistan (2010/08
/06)

There has been tremendous damage in northwestern Pakistan and the surrounding areas due to floods triggered by heavy monsoon rain in the end of July. Initiating projects to help survivor children and youth in the area by providing supplies and other things, Kokkyo naki Kodomotachi (KnK) has started to gather information in cooperation with local partner NGO, FWA.
Arrangement is also being made to send Japanese staff members in the beginning of September.

KnK has been working in Pakistan since the great earthquake in October 2005 and has provided educational opportunities and mental health care to approximately 2,500 children.

Children in Pakistan are once again in crisis due to another large-scale natural disaster.

We are urgently asking regular KnK supporters and our website visitors for emergency aid for child survivors of the floods in Pakistan.

Please enter “Pakistan Floods” in the remarks box.
