■Presentation Day (2011/02/15)

The first term of KnK’s educational courses has finished at the youth center in Jabal Amman. What have our participant youths learnt through the courses? Let’s look at their performance from Music, Sports, Theater, and Drawing course at the presentation day.

At this occasion, the youth performed and showed their talents and skills developed during the three-month course.

[Music] Playing a variety of songs, from Fairouz’s song to foreign music

[Sports] Traditional dance by girl participants

[Theater] “Searching for happiness” The main character had not been able to feel happy whatever he is doing. At last, he found his happiness by helping younger children who are in difficult situations.
[Drawing] A variety of artwork, including message cards to youth in Japan

Students from Youth Program and Community Program fulfilled their important tasks in organizing the event, such as making a remark at opening/closing and welcoming guests at the reception.

We were honored to have Mr. Okachi from the Embassy of Japan in Jordan, Mr. Rashad from Higher Council for Youth, and delegates from NGOs. Many families from the community also came to see the presentation. The event was broadcasted in the morning TV show by Jordan Radio and Television (JRTV).

The participant youth performed lively with full of energy. The presentation day was the momentum when their everyday activities at the center came into bloom. Through the event, the staffs were motivated again toward KnK’s mission, while realizing what the youth center has achieved.

Now we are starting the new term. KnK in Jordan aim this term also to be active with a variety of educational opportunities for developing and enhancing talents and skills of youth, especially of those who are in difficult situations.
Your warmest continuous support would be greatly appreciated.
